Plot: A soldier introduces himself to the Peterson family, claiming to be a friend of their son who died in action. After the young man is welcomed into their home, a series of accidental deaths seem to be connected to his presence.
Cast: Dan Stevens, Sheika Kelly, Maika Monroe
Review: I don't know why this movie is rated so high on IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes. 91% really?? This is from the team that brought us You're Next, a fun unexpected thriller that I really enjoyed. What happened with this one? There's nothing special about this film at all. It's so predictable. The soundtrack is retro. In some scenes it didn't make sense. I don't like it. They're trying to make it look too Halloween. The acting is stiff. Some people are praising Dan Steven's acting. All he did was kill people with his smouldering glares. Though his hair is always on point. What a cool killer. I'm really disappointed. I hope there's no sequel to this. Please don't.
