Plot: Two codependent best friends - one straight girl, one lesbian - and the man who comes between them.
Cast: Leighton Meester, Gillian Jacobs, Adam Brody
Review: Okay so the Blair Waldorf we all love is playing a lesbian in this movie. Although *spoiler* she didn't kiss any girl here. Leighton is adorable yes but the acting could be improved. So as Gillian Jacobs. I find her voice annoying at times. Leighton and Gillian really have a good chemistry as best friends. It felt real. Adam Brody in a film with his wife Leighton *swoon*. He's still the likable Seth Cohen we all loved. The movie is supposed to be a comedy but I did not laugh one bit. It's pretty entertaining though. I guess what I liked about this movie is how realistic and relatable it is. It shows how a person matures overtime. Our priorities should be set as we grow older. You start asking yourself, should I pursue my passion or should I just get a job that will give me stability. Things like that. It's like looking at your life from different perspectives. And I like the theme of the film which is friendship. Remember, you should never let a man/woman ruin a friendship.
