Plot: A soldier assigned to Guantanamo Bay befriends a man who has been imprisoned there for eight years.
Cast: Kristen Stewart, Peyman Moaadi
Review: People are saying this is Kristen Stewart's best performance so far. Well I can't say she delivered a stunning performance, but she did okay. Compared to her other films, I think this is where she showed more emotions and came out of her shell a bit. But still, I'm not impressed with her acting abilities. You definitely can't compare her to other A-list celebrities like Jennifer Lawrence but she had some moments in the film so kudos to her.
Overall I think the movie is engaging and very-well written. Lots of dialogues between Stewart and Maadi. Their connection is very moving. It's not the best film out there but it delivers a realistic message. If you really focused on the film, you'll see yourself tearing up in some scenes.
