Plot: When a US soccer team gets stranded on a deserted island after a plane crash they must face difficult choices to survive. Modern day Lord of the Flies.

Review: You know what, Eden is not a bad movie at all. I was expecting it to be flat out bad but it's actually entertaining. It gets you at the edge of your seat. It's intense. I wasn't crazy about the first part. The scene on the field and the mini conversations on the plane is a bit corny but it gets better. But it's not all perfect. Some scenes are just far better than the others.
Let's start with the good. I like how the movie builds up tension. It makes you glued to the screen. The scenery is beautiful. It is nice to look at. The movie is partly shot in Malaysia by the way. The production looks cool. Oh the guys! Heads up, you will see a lot of shirtless men in this movie and I'm not complaining at all. They are also very nice to look at. And I guess I'll include the acting as a positive because to be honest everybody played their part. I wouldn't say it's the best acting I've seen but at least they managed to make some scenes thrilling and entertaining. Ethan Peck can be stiff at times but his voice is sexy. Nate Parker brought his dramatic facial expressions as usual. Pretty good. Jessica Lowndes is looking beautiful as always. Mario Casas is a babe! I love his character, Felix.
As for the bad. Some scenes are questionable and laughable. The one-on-one fight scenes are silly. There are some roll-eye moments. Combine my good ones and the bad ones, you'll get an average but entertaining film. If you have nothing to do, you might want to check this one out.
